Using the Snipping Tool
Click on the ‘Start’ button in the bottom left corner of the computer or laptop screen or press the Windows key on the keyboard.
- Search and open by typing ‘Snipping Tool’ in the search box
- You can do the same setting as you want to take screenshot by clicking on the drop down arrow next to the new option.
- Select this option for ‘Rectangular snip’
- Now on your computer screen from where you want to capture the screen, click with the mouse and move the cursor to the bottom
- Full screen means to take screenshot of the whole screen, select the option of full snip from the drop down of snipping tool.
In this way you can easily take screenshot.
You can take different types of screenshots by selecting other options like ‘Free-Form or Window snip’ in the snipping tool. And you can save the picture by pressing the Ctrl + S buttons simultaneously, whether you can also mark in the screenshot with the highlighting brush or pen.

You can also take screenshot with keyboard shortcut key, there is a different method for desktop and different method for laptop.
Desktop
First of all, whoever wants to take a screenshot, open the page.
Press the Alt+Print Screen/SysRq button on the keyboard or just press PrintScreen/SysRq.
Your screenshot has been captured and copied.
After this open ‘Paint’ in Windows 7.
Paste the captured image by pressing both Ctrl+V together.1
If you want to edit the screenshot, do it and then save it by pressing Ctrl + S.
Take Screenshot in Laptop like this
Laptop should be of any company like dell, lenovo, hp, Samsung, Acer etc., if you are using Windows 7, XP or Vista operating system in them So to take screenshot, press PrntScrn key and for active window you can take snapshot by pressing Alt + PrntScrn button.
How to take screenshot in Windows 8, 8.1 and 10?
For this use the keyboard shortcut key. Press the Windows key and the PrntScrn key simultaneously to take a screenshot on any type of PC, laptop or desktop.Now open the paint application in Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 and paste the screenshot there by pressing Ctrl and V and save it by pressing Ctrl + S.
